Deposit Requirements for New & Existing Locations
All locations will be subject to a $15 service charge and a $5 membership fee, in addition to the following deposit:

New Location $200 min.
A deposit for a new commercial service shall be computed based on 1/6 of the estimated annual billing utilizing connected loads furnished by the Engineering or Service Departments.

Old Location $200 min.
A deposit for an existing commercial location shall be based on the sum of the two (2) highest consecutive monthly billings, of the last 12 months billing, of the previous consumer or consumers.

Parish Permit Requirements
Different parishes have different permitting requirements established by their Police Jury or Health Units. These requirements must be met before SLEMCO can turn on the power. Call the authority nearest you for information regarding these requirements.
